Differentiator 01

One app for every alarm you monitor.

Your clients run mixed hardware — different radios, different communicators, different panels. Everyone else's app speaks to one brand. CleverOS integrates every third-party GSM and radio communicator.

So your whole client base — every panel, every radio — lives on one app, under your brand. Arm it, disarm it, bypass zones. Any brand.

Contact ID & SIA DC-09

The industry standards, normalised into one event spine — so any panel behind any communicator is a first-class citizen.

IP receivers

Direct TCP receivers for cloud-IP and SIA panels, with per-account encryption where the panel supports it.

Radio bases

Physical base stations for radio networks feed the same stream — no separate screen, no second system.

Cloud communicators

Webhook communicators land in seconds without a single box on your premises.

Differentiator 02

Alarm-only. Hybrid.
Camera-first.

CleverOS monitors whatever is on the wall. Pure alarm fleets are first-class — zones, partitions, open/close, supervision, the lot. No cameras required.

When a client is ready, cameras click in as an upsell your team sells: AI watches the scene, false alarms die before a vehicle rolls, and every dispatch goes out with visual proof.

CleverOSAlarms today, cameras when the client is ready — same platform, same app
Everyone elseAlarms forever, with video bolted on through third parties
We believe monitoring ends up visual-first. Whether that takes two years or ten — you'll already be on the platform that does it natively.
Differentiator 03 · Clava AI

The AI works the alarm,
not just the queue.

Clava — the CleverOS event brain — scores every signal, ranks the dispatch board, recommends the nearest unit and even makes the verification call. Your operators approve decisions instead of hunting for them.

Differentiator 04 · CleverTech

Your techs work offline.
The office sees it anyway.

Installations and service calls are where most security companies still run on paper job cards and WhatsApp photos. CleverTech is a real field-service app for your technicians — and it is offline-first by design.

In a roof, a basement or a farm valley the job keeps working: parts used, notes, photos and sign-off are captured locally and sync themselves the moment signal returns. Site access notes, contacts and the equipment history load when the tech is back on the network.

Techs quote on site while they're standing at the fault, capture the customer's signature, and the completed job flows straight into billing — no re-typing, no lost job cards, no Monday-morning reconciliation.

Differentiator 05

Your customers hear from your brand — on every channel.

First — always

Your branded app

Rich, instant, two-way. Verified events with images, arming control, panic — under your name and colours.

Then

WhatsApp

Where your customers actually are. Two-way alarm handling with the same buttons as the app.

Fallback

SMS

No smartphone, no data, no problem. Nothing gets missed — and nobody gets sent to Telegram.

The ecosystem

Six apps. One platform.
Everyone on the same event.

Every person in your company gets an app built for their job — operator, responder, technician, sales rep, customer and owner. All six read and write the same live data, so nobody is ever looking at a different version of the truth.

CleverCommand

The operator command centre. Work alarms with AI at your side — enforced action plans, dispatch copilot, softphone.

CleverAlert

Your customers' branded app. Arm, disarm, bypass any panel brand, live camera view, verified-alarm timeline, panic.

CleverResponder

The reaction officer's cockpit. Jobs land on the phone with the site's own response instructions, navigation and a live map. Arrive, act, report with geotagged photo evidence — and it queues offline when the signal drops.

CleverTech

Offline-first field service. The day's jobs, checklists, parts, photos, quoting and signature sign-off — in a roof or a basement, with no signal.

CleverSales

The rep's app. Work leads through the pipeline, build a quote from the live equipment catalog on the customer's couch, send it for signature — and the moment it's accepted the subscription starts billing itself.

CleverOps

Run the company: full CRM, billing and debit orders, accounting sync, fleet and compliance, performance and reports.

The back office

Most platforms stop at the alarm.
This one keeps going.

The customer record, the contract, the job, the invoice, the debit order and the accounting export are the same system that took the signal — so nothing is re-typed and nothing falls between two products.

CRM & sales

Customers, contacts, sites and a single activity timeline — every call, message, job and invoice against the record. Leads come in from a web form and get worked in CleverSales.

Quotes & contracts

Quotes with revisions and internal approval before they leave the building, service agreements, and online acceptance by the customer.

Billing

Invoices, subscriptions, statements and a monthly run. Branded PDFs, and automated payment reminders that escalate on their own.

Payments

Debit-order batches and card payments, reconciled back onto the invoice — with a self-service portal where customers see and settle their own account.

Accounting

Two-way sync with Xero, Sage, QuickBooks Online, Zoho Books and FreshBooks — plus Pastel and Omni exports for desktop ledgers.

Service ops

Jobs, a schedule board, the standby roster, technicians and reusable job templates — feeding CleverTech in the field.

Fleet & compliance

Vehicles, GPS trackers, mandatory pre-shift checks, odometer and trip integrity, and a running cost ledger per asset.

Performance

Response and operator reporting, heatmaps, SLA tracking and exports — so you manage on numbers instead of anecdotes.

Why it holds together

One database.
Not four systems arguing.

This is the part that actually matters. A normal security company runs a control-room system, a CRM, a billing package and a field-service app — four separate databases, four customer lists, four versions of an address. Keeping them agreeing is somebody's full-time job, and they still drift.

The usual stack
Control room own DB
CRM own DB
Billing own DB
Field service own DB
Four customer lists. A site cancelled in billing that the control room still dispatches to. A tech sent to an old address. Reconciliation is a job.
VS
CleverOS
One database
CustomersSitesContactsAlarms EventsDispatchesJobsQuotes InvoicesPaymentsVehiclesStaff
Cancel a site and the control room knows instantly. Close a job and it invoices itself. Nothing to reconcile, because nothing was ever split.

And the one system that has to stay separate? Two-way sync.

Your accountant isn't giving up their ledger, and they shouldn't have to. So the books are the one deliberate exception — and even that is a live two-way sync every 15 minutes, not a month-end export. Customers and payments flow both directions; with Xero, so do invoices and quotes — raise one in either system and it appears in the other. No double capture, no re-typing, no mismatch.

Straight answers

The questions every owner asks first.

Do we have to replace our alarm panels?
No. CleverOS speaks the industry standards — Contact ID and SIA DC-09 — plus the leading South African radio and IP communicators, so the panels already on your customers' walls keep signalling exactly as they do today. Cameras are an upgrade you sell later, not a condition of joining.
Do we need a server or a base station?
No servers, ever — the platform is cloud-native. Cloud and IP communicators need nothing on your premises at all. If you run a radio network, physical base stations feed the same event stream on Enterprise.
Can the customer app carry our own brand?
Yes. On Enterprise the end-user app ships white-labelled — your name, logo, colours and your own store listing. Your customers never see the word CleverCam.
We're on another platform. What happens to our data?
Sites, customers and contacts import from CSV, and Enterprise includes white-glove migration with a guided onboarding. You can run in parallel while you move — nobody flips a switch on a live control room.
Are we locked in?
Standard and Plus carry no setup fee, no minimum spend and no contract — start with one transmitter. Enterprise carries a minimum spend, which your account manager will walk through before you sign anything.
Will it work with our accounting software?
Yes. CleverOS syncs two-way every 15 minutes with Xero, Sage, QuickBooks Online, Zoho Books and FreshBooks — customers and payments flow both directions, and with Xero so do invoices and quotes. Pastel and Omni are supported as file exports for desktop ledgers. Your accountant keeps their ledger; you stop capturing everything twice.
Who owns the data?
You do. Sites, customers, invoices and event history export whenever you want. Consent is tracked per contact and every administrative change is written to an audit trail, so a POPIA request has an answer.
